Foams & Sponge

Lightweight, versatile, and durable—foam & sponge materials are the perfect choice for numerous applications. Select a type of foam or sponge below to learn more or contact us now if you have any questions.

BISCO® Silicone

BISCO® high performance silicone materials are sold exclusively through a network of Preferred Converters. Closed cell, open cell, and solid silicones are available.

EVA - Molded Buns

Compression molded EVA buns (blocks) create a very fine internal micro cell structure. Sheets up to 4″ thick are available in most densities. Available with flame retardants, UL ratings, and FDA ingredients.

Insulation

K-Flex® Insul-Sheet® & Armacell® Armaflex® — Flexible elastomeric foam insulation provides protection against condensation, energy loss, and mold.

Neoprene / EPDM Blend

Economical closed cell blend. Popular in many industrial applications. Available from very soft to very firm grades. UL recognized and UL listed flame ratings available.

Neoprene / EPDM / SBR Blend

Economical closed cell blend. Used in many industrial applications. Available from very soft to very firm. Flame retardant and UL listed blends available.

Polyethylene - Chemically Cross Linked

Chemically Cross-linked Polyethylene (PE) closed cell foam is produced in continuous rolls, creating a smooth, yet tough and resilient moisture-resistant durable skin surface.

Polyethylene - Irradiated

Irradiated Polyethylene (PE) closed cell foam is produced in continuous rolls, creating an aesthetically pleasing microcellular foam with a smooth, conformable, moisture-resistant skin surface.

Polyethylene - Molded Buns

Compression molded Polyethylene (PE) buns create a very fine internal micro cell structure. Available in extremely soft low density foams to very hard high density foam. Sheets up to 4″ thick.

Polyurethane

Polyurethane Ether (Polyether) and Polyurethane Ester (Polyester) are manufactured as open cell foams. Polyurethanes are manufactured in a wide variety of densities and firmness.

PORON® - Microcellular Polyurethane

PORON® is a microcellular polyurethane foam. PORON® maintains excellent resistance to compression set. Extremely soft lower density formulations to very hard higher density formulations available.

Pure EPDM

Closed cell or semi closed cell formulations. Excellent UV and ozone resistance. Available from extremely low force to compress semi closed cell to very firm high density formulations. UL flame ratings available.

Pure Nitrile

Pure Nitrile (NBR) is manufactured closed cell and can be provided in sheets or continuous rolls. Nitrile is the “Go-To” for applications requiring oil and fuel resistance.

PVC

Supplied as very soft semi open cell or fully closed cell. Manufactured in rolls on a casting paper, PET film or other film carriers. Inherently fire retardant and available with UL flame ratings.

Semi-Closed Cell EPDM

Manufactured as a very soft low force to compress sponge for applications requiring a soft conformable material. Great UV and ozone resistance. UL flame ratings available.

Semi-Closed Cell Vinyl / Nitrile Blend

Semi-Closed Cell Vinyl / Nitrile (PVC / NBR) is manufactured as a very soft low force to compress sponge for applications requiring a soft conformable material. UL listed and UL flame ratings available.

Silicone - Foam

Silicone Foams are manufactured in a wide range of product offerings. Liquid silicones are cast on a release carrier or specific substrate to provide solutions for many types of applications.

Silicone - Solid

Solid Silicone Rubber is available in degrees of hardness. Solid Silicones can be compounded for general purpose commercial usage or customized to meet specific physical properties.

Silicone - Sponge

Silicone Sponge is closed cell. This manufacturing process creates a unique product which provides similar benefits of a solid silicone plus the conformability and flexibility of sponge.

Vinyl / Nitrile Blend

(PVC / NBR) Closed cell blend. Popular in many general industrial and automotive applications. Most commonly produced in a lower density soft formulation. UL listed and UL flame ratings available.

Vinyl / Nitrile / Neoprene Blend

(PVC / NBR / CR) Closed cell blend. Used in many industrial applications. Available from very soft to very firm grades. UL recognized and UL listed flame ratings available.
