Silicone sponge is closed cell. This manufacturing process creates a unique product which provides similar benefits of a solid silicone plus the conformability and flexibility of sponge. The surface is typically textured, however smooth options are now available. Soft, medium, and firm grades are available, suitable for a wide range of applications.
